An operational synthesis of the 2010-2020 turn, Brief Adaptive Identity Therapy aims, in a few sessions, to transform an identity frozen by traumas or transitions into a fluid identity, capable of absorbing successive contexts. Centered on present adaptation rather than on historical causes, it is indicated in PTSD with identity alteration and in dissociative disorders.
